The Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC), under the Insecticides Act, 1968, regulates the registration, manufacture, import, sale, and use of pesticides in India to safeguard human health, animal health, and the environment.

A. Banned for Manufacture, Import, and Use

II. Pesticides Refused Registration

  • Aluminium Phosphide – Restricted to licensed operators
  • Captafol – Seed treatment only
